Please read this entire email.  There are a few things you need to do to help us have a great season.

Please use this link to sign up for our Remind text messages.  We will use this to keep you informed about decisions regarding weather for swim meets only.   We do everything we can to get a full meet in on the date scheduled.  Sometimes this requires us to wait out a pop up thunderstorm.  Please do not leave a meet until we officially cancel the event.  You can join the Remind group by using this link

Please signup your swimmer today, right now, don't delay, don't forget... do it today!  The signup deadline for swimmers in the upcoming Tuesday, May 29 meet is today, Friday May 25 at 11pm.  DON'T forget.  We will not take any swimmers that call, email or text and beg to swim after the signups are closed.  It is easy to do.  Login to roxborosharks.swimtopia.com, look at the right hand side of the page, click on the green tab to sign up your swimmer, and while you are logged in, go ahead and signup for a volunteer shift.  Thank you!

Our first home meet will be a big one!  We are hosting the Garden Hills CoolSharks.  They are bringing over 170 swimmers to our pool and we want to be known as generous, courteous and friendly hosts.  The RVA parking guidelines and map have been shared with Garden Hills.  I have also attached the guidelines and map to this map.  Carpool if you can.  Walk if you can.  Encourage your swimmers to practice good sportsmanship in the pool, on the deck and everywhere.

Our swim team practices will resume on Tuesday morning at 9am.  We will have morning practices every Mon-Fri beginning Tues May 29, and evening practices on Mon and Thursdays beginning June 01.  Questions about our practice schedule?  Visit the RoxboroValley.com website and look at "Calendar" OR visit roxborosharks.swimtopia.com and look at "Schedule".
