Hello Sharks!

I can't believe we are less than a week away from our first meet of the 2019 season!  There are a few things everyone needs to do to make that first meet a success.

1.  RSVP your swimmer(s).  Go to our swim team website roxborosharks.swimtopia.com and login.  On the front page, right hand side, is "upcoming meets", click on the RSVP tab and sign up your available swimmers for the meet.  If you don't RSVP, the automatic default is NOT attending, which means we will not have your swimmer in our lineup for the meet.  If you do RSVP attending, then we will assign your swimmer to individual events and relays as available.  This means we are counting on you to be there.  RSVP's close at 11:30pm on Friday night before the upcoming meet.  Creating a meet lineup takes a lot of time and energy and Coach Matt and Coach CarolClair need the entire weekend to build a lineup.  There are no exceptions to this deadline.

2.  While you are logged in, sign up for a job at the meet.   Same place, right hand side of the home page, a little green button for job signups.  It takes a lot of volunteers to make a safe, and fun meet for our swimmers.  We have all kinds of jobs.  Ask me if you need more information about the jobs.  Or, just sign up and you will meet somebody new, and likely have a lot more fun.  No job will keep you from seeing your swimmer swim their events.  If we have every family sign up for every meet, then every parent is guaranteed to see their swimmer(s) swim.  I promise!  On the other hand, if not every family signs up for every meet, I will start to assign jobs.  Please just do your part, and volunteer for every meet your child(ren) swims.  Thank you.
