Roxboro at Kingsley results, and updated information for our party on Thursday
Sharks,
Well, the rain and weather did not cooperate for us to finish the season with a strong meet at Kingsley. We did our best, but in the end, we called it a "weather tie". It is always the goal to finish a meet on the day scheduled. Unfortunately, due to a variety of circumstances, the "weather tie" was the best solution for us all last night. I appreciate every one of you for all of your patience and waiting it out to the final decision. I swept the deck and have a few items that were left behind. Blue crocs, goggles, and a cinch sack. I will take these to the pool today and leave them in our lost and found bin if not collected this morning. Still missing are some black Nike slides. If you picked up anything that doesn't belong to you, please let me know so that we can try and find it's rightful owner. Thank you.
Today Tuesday June 25, we practice from 10-11am for ONLY those swimmers signed up to swim the ASA Divisionals at GaTech.
Our Season End Celebration is on Thursday at the pool. Please make note to the following change to the schedule of events. The Kona Ice truck will be there 6-8pm. Our awards and recognition ceremony will begin at 7pm, the pool will close to swimming for this very short ceremony. Free swim for all Sharks and members will go until 10pm. In the chance of rain or bad weather, the ceremony will still be held in the pavilion at 7pm, and the pool will be open for swimming per the direction of the lifeguards on duty.
If you and your swimmers want to thank your coaches, a personal note or drawing is always appreciated. You can bring those to the party on Thursday or contact me directly for their personal mailing address.
Thank you,
Jennifer Entrekin
