Good afternoon Sharks,

What a great meet we had last night against Riverside!  Our Sharks did a great job in the water and on the deck.  Our volunteers stepped up and helped us in so many ways.  And the weather held off just long enough that we were able to get our full meet in before the skies opened and a deluge of rain was delivered.

We did win the meet, final score Roxboro 463 vs Riverside 326.  More important than the score, we had a fun night with friends and families.  To me, that is the most amazing part of a good swim meet.  So much good fellowship on the deck with new friends and old friends.  Thank you to everyone for making that possible.  Ribbons for all three of our completed meets are now ready for pickup by swimmers.  At any of our practices please check in with me to collect your ribbons.  

Tomorrow, Thursday June 10 is our team photo day.  Attached is the order form.  We have modified the practice schedule a little bit so that we can clear the water for the team photo.  Individual, sibling or small group photos will begin at 8:30am.  Team photo lineup begins at 9:15am.  Please wear your team suit or your 2021 Roxboro Sharks t-shirt over your suit.  This is the only photo session we have scheduled.  Practice schedule is as follows, 6U's 8-8:30am; 7/8's 8:30-9:15am; 9/10's 9:45-10:20am; 11up 10-10:50am.  No dryland warmup tomorrow. 

The 2021 Season End Celebration has been scheduled for Wednesday June 23, 5-8pm.  Mark your calendars now, more details to come.
