Hello Sharks,

Tomorrow, Monday June 21 is our last practice and our last meet of the season. We will have regular morning practice 8-11am tomorrow. The pool and parking lot will close at 3pm. Sharks report on deck at 4pm, warmups at 4:30pm, meet starts at 5:30pm. After the last event of the meet, we will celebrate our recent high school graduates with the traditional Senior Swim. I am so excited to see what these incredible young persons have planned for their final swims as Roxboro Sharks. And if the weather is cooperative, we will have a one hour free swim after the meet. Please make plans to stay up late with us and celebrate our high school graduates.

The End of Season Celebration is on Wednesday June 23, 5-8pm. Please RSVP on the SwimTopia website. Some are reporting that the mobile app is not working for the rsvp’s so you may have to try the website from your computer. Every Shark will get a complimentary Kona Ice. Additional cups can be purchased for siblings and parents. We will have fun in the pool and a special surprise for everyone. Parents and siblings are welcome to wear their swimsuits and join in the fun. We will clear the pool at 7pm for the Dive and Swim Team awards presentation. As soon as that is done, we will open the pool again for more fun in the water.

I will have the photo orders available for pickup anytime tomorrow at practice or at the Volunteer Coordinator table at the meet. If you are not able to collect your photos tomorrow, they will be available at the party on Wednesday. Ribbons from tomorrow’s meet will also be available for pickup at the party on Wednesday.
