Hello Sharks,

We have had a lot of rain today but it looks like it is done for the day. Practices are on, rain or shine. We will cancel or delay practice if thunder or lightning is present, but it is always the hope to get some portion of practices in. If the weather is very bad, I will try to send out emails if we decide to cancel practice for the entire afternoon. Weather rapidly changes in Atlanta, so there is always hope.  

Some schools are still in session, so if it was a super hard day at school or there is a major test the next day, stay home and rest or prepare. School always comes first.

Make the best decisions for your family. If it is too much to come for a practice with cloudy skies and cooler temps stay home and cuddle up for the evening. If it was a hard day at school, stay home and rest or study for tomorrow.

We want swim team to be fun for everyone. Swimmers, parents, siblings... we want it to be fun for everyone.

The weather is iffy for this week, with cooler temperatures and possible thunderstorms. So come to practice with extra dry and warm towels and clothes. Come with a great attitude and willingness to change with the weather. We will do our best and we will have fun!

A reminder about parking at Roxboro. We have a lot of Sharks coming and going for practices. NEVER park in an unmarked spot in the parking lot. DO NOT double park in the parking lot, even if you know who you are blocking in, this is dangerous and will not be tolerated. ALWAYS park on the incoming right hand side of Roxboro Drive if you can't find a spot in the lot. This is an ABSOLUTE must as we have to maintain a clear access to the pool for emergency vehicles. Those emergency vehicles cannot navigate Roxboro Drive if cars are parked on both sides. Please don't be that family car that makes a selfish decision that could jeopardize a fellow Roxboro family in the case of an emergency.
