2023 Roxboro Sharks / first day of swim team practice May 15
Hello Sharks,
A quick reminder that swim team practices will start on Monday May 15, 2023. The pool is heated to 84 degrees but May in Atlanta can be chilly so be sure to pack warm clothes, dry towels, snacks and water, and a great attitude! Don’t forget your swimsuit and your goggles. Parking is always a challenge at our pool. Please be sure to only park in marked parking spots. If you have to park on the street outside the pool gates, only park on the right side of Roxboro Drive coming into the pool. Be a good neighbor and don’t block mailboxes or driveways. Thank you!
Pre-season, May/Afterschool practice schedule. Beginning Monday May 15 and ending Thursday May 25, every Monday-Thursday afternoon.

May30-June 26/Morning practice schedule. We will take Monday, May 29 OFF for Memorial Day. We move to morning practices on Tuesday May 30. We will practice every Monday-Friday morning thru June 26. There will be a modified practice schedule June 27-28 for those swimmers participating in the ASA League Championship on June 29.

June/Evening practice schedule. We will offer optional evening practices on Mondays and Thursdays in June. June 01, June 05, June 08, June 12, June 15, June 19, and June 22. Please only take part in these practices if your swimmer is missing morning practices due to camps, day care, or other obligations. Summer swimmers do not need to practice twice a day.

2023 Dual Meet Schedule. Our meet schedule has been finalized by the league. More information to come. For planning purposes, meet arrival time is usually between 4 and 4:30pm and meets start promptly at 5:30pm. We typically finish a meet within 3 ½ hours of start time.

2023 ASA League Championship Timed Finals at Georgia Tech. Our Roxboro Sharks are scheduled to swim on Thursday June 29 at 9:30am. More details to come.
2023 Season End Celebration. Our Swim and Dive Teams will come together on Thursday June 29, 5-8pm. We will have fun, swimming, awards, and Kona Ice for all of our Sharks.
