Hello Sharks!

Wow!  What a great night we had at the pool tonight!  Roxboro Sharks finished the night with a win over Kingsley Dolphins!  I am very proud of all our coaches, Head Coach Eli, Assistant Coach Grogan, Coach Davis, Coach Kate, Coach Anna, Coach Mary, Coach Kyle, Coach Virginia Jane, Coach Ella, Coach Alaric, Coach Winlon, Coach Libby, and Coach Jack have worked hard and have done a great job!

Many many thanks to everyone that volunteered a shift to make sure that our meet was safe and fun for everyone.  We received so many compliments from our guest, Kingsley, about how great a host team we are.  Thank you all!  

We practice tomorrow morning with the team favorite "GAME DAY".  Game day is a real practice day with reinforcement on swimming skills, endurance, and water comfort for all of our Sharks in the form of games with our coaches.  We will pass out the meet ribbons after each practice session on Wednesdays and celebrate with three munchkins for every Shark (one each for little brothers and sisters).

Go ahead and sign up your Sharks for meet#2 and a volunteer job, too.  We swim at Georgetown next Tuesday, June 4.  Sharks arrive at 4:30pm, warmups at 5pm, meet starts promptly at 5:30pm.  Swimmer signups close on Friday May 31 at 11pm.  No late entries will be possible.
