Tomorrow Thursday June 20 is our annual Sharks Lapathon! What began over three decades ago as a challenge to see just how many laps our Sharks can swim, is now a great opportunity for
our Sharks to use their strength in the water to help others. We have long partnered
with Swim Across America to FIGHT CANCER. Our monetary donations go the CHoA Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorder Center.

As Sharks, our team values are

SPORTSMANSHIP | ATTITUDE | RESPECT | HARDWORKER | KINDNESS

I can think of no better way to reflect all of these values
than our annual Sharks Lapathon. I
challenge you each to come to practice tomorrow and swim as many laps as
possible in your practice time. No
matter your skill level, every lap counts!!

As a special addition for 2024, we will have an “adults only
lane”. Any parent or adult family member that
would like to swim laps with the Sharks is welcome! You will swim during your child’s normal
practice time. Any skill, any stroke,
any speed, just fun and for a great cause.
Make it a family challenge, “who can swim more laps?” Please join us!
