Hello Sharks!

I am so proud to be a Shark! Our team swam 2,820 laps at our annual Sharks Lapathon with Swim Across America! As I write this email, we have raised over $1100 for the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of CHoA. I hope that you will continue to honor your favorite Shark with a donation to this worthy cause. We are proud of how strong our Sharks have gotten in just 6 short weeks of swim team, and how they happily swam laps for others. Our parents showed up in force to swim laps with their favorite Sharks, we will continue this new tradition every season. Mark your calendars now for the “last Thursday of the swim team season- Sharks Lapathon”. I will publish the actual date at the start of next 2025 season.

Last call for signups for meet#5! Signup your Shark before 11pm on Friday June 21. This is our last dual meet of the season. Roxboro Sharks will host the Brittany Club Barracudas on MONDAY June 24. Sharks arrive at 4pm, warmup at 4:30pm, meet starts at 5:30pm. We will celebrate our class of 2024 high school seniors, and finish the night with a one hour swim after the meet under the lights.

This morning was our last 6U's MiniMeet of the season.  The coaches and I are amazed by the progress our 6U's have made this season.  They are stronger, braver, more skilled, and faster Sharks!  Thank you to all the supporters of our 6U's MiniMeet program.

We have regular practices on Monday morning.

Tuesday June 25 and Wednesday June 26 practices are for only those 49 Sharks signed up for the ASA Championship Meet at Georgia Tech. Please make note of the modified schedule.
