Hello Sharks!

Another win for the Roxboro Sharks!  Tuesday's meet against Hampton Hall was sunny weather, fast swimming, and beautiful people!  Sharks did a great job of cheering on each other, and all the swimmers.  Volunteers were ready and willing to do whatever was asked of them. Our coaches worked hard setting up for the meet, coaching, swimming, and then taking down all the equipment after the meet.

We have amazing volunteers! One Shark dad worked at the meet even though his Shark was unable to swim.  Shout out to the Hayes and Howell families for leading our concession stand!  A very special thank you to Tom & Bev Maiellaro for doing all the shopping for our concession stand.  And, to Grant Kitts for repairing our lane line, every home meet traffic assistance, and putting out and taking in all the yard signs in the neighborhood.  Tom, Bev, and Grant have long since graduated their Sharks from our swim program, but they are consistent and highly treasured supporters of our program.  They come down to the pool every summer and ask "what can we do to help the Sharks?" Next time you see them, please say "thank you!"
