Hello Sharks!

I can hardly believe we are already past the halfway point of the 2025 season. But don’t worry, there is still a lot of fun on the calendar.

The sunshine and blue skies made for a great swim meet at Brittany Club on Tuesday June 10.  We didn't get the overall team win, but I am proud of all our Sharks, coaches, and volunteers.  We did win in being organized, on time for our races, supporting each other, cheering loudly for everyone, and all those things that make us SHARKS!

We will not have an evening practice option on Monday June 16. The pool will close at 3pm for a Roxboro Sharks home dive meet. Come on down and cheer on the Dive Sharks at their final home dive meet at 5:30pm.

Swim Meet#4 is home at Roxboro on Tuesday June 17. We will celebrate our class of 2025 high school seniors at the end of the meet with their final swim as a Roxboro Shark at home. Following the meet and the senior swims, we will all celebrate with a one hour free swim under the lights. Signups due Friday June 13.

What has become one of my most favorite events of the season, our lap-a-thon with Swim Across America on Thursday June 19 during your regular practice session, morning and evening. Lane 6 will be reserved for moms and dads that would like to participate. Please help beat last year’s number of 2,820 laps and over $1500 raised! Donate in honor of your favorite Shark HERE

The SAA Atlanta funds raised directly benefit the Swim Across America Lab at Children's Healthcare Of Atlanta FOCUS: Leukemia research and clinical trials and medulloblastoma and osteosarcoma research. Funding benefits young investigators and their efforts to research related therapies, drugs, and side effects.

Friday June 20 is our final 6U’s Mini Meet of the season.

Monday June 23 is our final morning practice of the season.

MONDAY June 23 is our final dual meet of the season AWAY at Briarwood. More details to come.

Tuesday June 24 and Wednesday June 25 morning practices will be for ONLY those Sharks registered to swim the ASA League Championship at GaTech on Thursday June 26.

Thursday June 26 MORNING is our session at the ASA League Timed Final Championship at Georgia Tech. Signups are now open for this meet. You must signup before 11:30pm on Wednesday June 18. There will be no late entries for this meet.

Thursday June 26 is our SEASON END CELEBRATION. 5-9pm at Roxboro. SharkBites will not be open during the celebration but we will have Kona Ice for everyone! Bring your own dinner and celebrate the 2025 season with our Roxboro Sharks Swim & Dive teams.
