Hello Sharks,

Meet#4 was a weather cancelation, resulting in a tie for both teams. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a chance to grill all those burgers and dogs. Sharks Super Supporters- Tom and Bev Maiellaro are hosting a pop-up grill today, Saturday June 21, 4-6pm. Venmo and cash only. NO SharkBites credits will be accepted at this pop-up grill.

Our lap-a-thon with Swim Across America on Thursday June 19 was a great success!! We swam 3,797 laps, a program record for the Sharks. To date, we have raised just over $1800. Please continue to donate so that we can meet or exceed our goal of $2000. Donate in honor of your favorite Shark HERE Our last 6U mini meet on Friday June 20 was a lot of fun. This was the week that we can see just how strong all of our Sharks have gotten this season. Way to go Sharks!

A reminder that Tuesday June 24 and Wednesday June 25 is practice for only those Sharks signed up to swim the ASA Championship. We will follow this schedule:

6U’s 8-8:30am | 7/8’s 8-8:45am | 9/10s 8:30-9:20am | 11+ 8:45-9:45am

The Roxboro Sharks Swim & Dive Season End Celebration is Thursday June 26. We will start the fun at 5pm. Kona Ice will be there 5:30-6:30pm. Awards Ceremony will begin at 6:30pm. We will also celebrate our Class of 2025 High School Seniors. Any ribbons earned through the season will be available for pickup. Please note, SharkBites will not be open during the event, so bring your own dinner and spend the evening with us at the pool!

Our incredible coaches have worked hard this season providing fun and safe practices, setting up for every meet, cleaning up after every meet, playing games on Game Day, running MiniMeets, and so much more. If you would like to contribute to their end of season gifts, please Venmo Kay Alexander @Kay-Alexander (last four digits 5664). Deadline for this optional contribution is noon Wednesday June 25.

Most of all, our coaches love to get handwritten notes and pictures from the Sharks. We will have large envelopes for you to help stuff full of love at the Season End Celebration.
