Hello Sharks!

Another great week of practices! Thank you to everyone that is juggling the many events and demands of "MAY-hem". My own family is working overtime to get to all the graduations, end of year concerts, field trips, and more… not to mention studying for finals! Don't worry if you are missing practices, just come when you can and we will be happy to see you.

RSVP and job signups are open now for the May 26 swim meet. If your Shark plans to swim the meet on May 26, you must signup before the May 22 deadline. That deadline is Friday May 22 at 11pm. No exceptions.

Meet Volunteer Information Sessions will be offered Tuesday May 19 and Thursday May 21. Volunteer Coordinators Kay Alexander and Alison Strok will meet with any and all Sharks parents 4:30-5pm in the pool pavilion to discuss swim meets, how to sign up your swimmer, how to sign up for a volunteer job, and much more.

2026 Roxboro Sharks t-shirts will be ready for distribution Wednesday May 20! Don't worry if you can’t be there to get your t-shirt on Wednesday, I will have them at all the practices and meets until fully distributed. If you registered prior to April 15, we have your t-shirts reserved. If you missed the April 15 deadline, we will do our best to get your Shark a t-shirt from the limited amount of extras we ordered. We hope to have those for you late next week.

Roxboro Sharks “vintage t-shirts”. If you are doing some cleaning at home and wondering what to do with your collection of past season’s Roxboro Sharks t-shirts, we will be collecting those on Wednesday May 20. We will clean and sort them by size and year, and will have a “vintage t-shirt sale” later this season. All proceeds will go to Swim Across America and the fight against childhood cancer.
