Roxboro Sharks and Swim Across America MAKE WAVES AGAINST CANCER!

For over 20 years, Roxboro Sharks have given back to our local community by partnering with CHoA, the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorder Center, and Swim Across America. This season we will host our Sharks Lapathon on Thursday June 18 during regular practice times. Parents are welcome to swim and we will reserve lane 6 just for you! Parents will swim at the same practice time as their Sharks. Last year we swam 3,737 laps and raised over $4000 to fight cancer. Please mark your calendars now and plan to join us.

Every Sharks is encouraged to participate. Coaches will be in the water to help as needed. The entire event is a fun way to see just how strong the Sharks have gotten this season all while supporting a great cause. This special event demonstrates all five of our team pillars, Sportsmanship - Hard worker - Attitude - Respect - Kindness.
