Season Wrap Up

Whew…the last week of swim team is always a blur!! To wrap up a few things—
Info about our CHOA fundraiser has been submitted to the Northside Neighbor. Keep an eye out to see if we get published!
The Sharks participated in great swimming at the league meet at GA Tech. Congratulations to all of the participants.
Our end of season celebration was big fun but lightly attended because of the July 4th Holiday weekend. Congratulations to all of the swimmers and award winners! In the next week or so, I will post the program that will include a list of Season award winners.
The ribbon box is full of unclaimed treasures. It’s in Shark Bites for the rest of the summer. Please stop by when you are at the pool and pick up your swimmer’s ribbons and awards.
I speak for all of the coaches when I say THANK YOU!!! To the parents for your generosity with the end of season gifts.
A special thank you to the RVA Board for honoring me with “Cimowsky’s Corner” as a gift in my retirement year. I was truly surprised and overwhelmed by such thoughtfulness.
As I announced at the party, this will be my last year as Swim Team manager (and last e-mail-- Some of you are saying “Hooray!!”). It has been a blessing and a joy to lead the team. Jennifer Entrekin will be taking my place next year and will do a fabulous job. Please support her as you have supported me for the past 10 years. You guys have been great!
Last but not least, we are always looking for input. If you have suggestions or if you would like to be involved in the behind the scenes planning for swim team, please contact Jennifer at [email protected] or myself at [email protected] Many hands make light work!
Enjoy the rest of your summer and….see you at the pool!!
Thanks, Stacey
