We may have hit the end of our lucky weather streak—the forecast for tomorrow is iffy.  Remember that we will swim through rain but will have to go to our cars in the case of thunder/lightening.  We will keep everyone posted via e-mail/text if we have a delay.  In case of a delay, please don’t leave before the meet is called.  Summer showers often result in a delay but both teams are committed to getting the meet in if we can.

Vermack has a 5 lane pool so there will be some extra heats of events.  That will also result in our adjusting our volunteers slightly.

Some feedback from last week’s meet—

Please make sure the kids stay in their bullpen.  It’s really not fair to the bullpen parents to have to hunt for them—even if they are just sitting with their parents.

We have more coaches this week so they will be marking up.  It’s okay for bull pen moms to write names and ROX on the kids backs but please leave the details to the coaches.

Christopher will tell the kids what they are swimming tomorrow in practice. He does not like to post that info prior to the meet—I think he’s superstitious about that!

Upcoming

Wednesday – Group Team photos at 10:00 a.m.  Everyone please come if you can!  No obligation to purchase but it looks great to have everyone represented in the photo.  If you do chose to purchase individual/sibling/team photos, grab a form from me or print from the attachments.  Those photos will be taken between 9 and 10.  Everyone can swim and play after the photo ie The more cooperative they are for the photo, the faster they will hit the water!

Friday – Lapathon for Children’s Health Care of Atlanta.
